The center's three co-directorsKyle Scott, Bob Milner, and Pamela Zelbstwill use the funds to develop new technology transfer certificate programs for underrepresented STEM student entrepreneurs.

"We are excited to provide these talented grantees with resources and support to create impactful programs and learning experiences on their campuses, in their communities, and in the broader innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem," VentureWell President and CEO Phil Weilerstein says in a press release.

Some of the center's recent projects include a "Robohand" to help a child with Amniotic Band Syndrome, the Chronicle reports.
