The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation has announced the winning schools in the inaugural "D-backs $100,000 School Challenge" with Mayer Elementary School receiving a $5,000 grant for its After School Nutrition Program
Foundation President and CEO Derrick Hall said that the gratitude expressed by the recipients indicate that they should and they will replicate this program again later this year with their partners at the University of Phoenix.
