Grant To Help Improve Early Detection Of Hearing, Vision Deficits
Foundation: Wabash Valley Community Foundation
The Terre Haute Day Nursery Fund has given Hamilton Center Inc. a $13,175 grant for hearing and vision screening equipment.
Early Head Start, currently in its 26th year, provides in-home and center-based care for 120 young children ages 1-2.
Two to three out of every 1,000 babies are born deaf. Early identification can help avoid these effects.
