A device that could help improve the lives of children with cerebral palsy has won a $30,000 grant from a medical device program funded by the FDA.
"Since 2013, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of patients through innovation, turning inspiring ideas into products," Ryan Kelly, general manager of Innovation Lab, said in a press release.
"Many of these ideas come from clinicians who are working directly with patients and see where change is needed."
The Move-D device is a mechanical elbow brace, HME News reports.
It's designed to improve daily living for children with cerebral palsy by helping them move their arms and legs more easily.
