If you've ever wondered what it would be like to be your baby's playmate, well, you're in luck.
A man named Igor Jankovic has come up with what he's calling the Sipro Intelligent Social Robot, reports Phys.org.
Sipro, as it's called, is designed to be both a playmate and a protectorit can detect different voices and sensors to move around a room safely, for instance, and it will notify parents when a baby is crying or trying to calm them down by playing their parents' voices.
It can also play soothing music, according to Jankovic's website.
But Sipro isn't just a playmate, it's also "a companion for children and also as a protector if needed as well," says Jankovic.
"The main purpose is to aid parents in being more productive," he writes on his website.
"Other features include the notifications that it sends out to parents when babies are crying or trying to soothe them by playing music alternatively.
It will also opt by playing the voices of their parents as a calming factor as well."
