If you've got a 3-year-old in your life who wants to go to preschool, you're in luck: Children's Lighthouse is now open for business in New York City, the New York Daily News reports.
The preschool, which opened on West 42nd Street in lower Manhattan in October, is the first to open in the Big Apple, per a press release, and it's the first Children's Lighthouse location to open in New York City.
It's also the first Children's Lighthouse location to open in the state of New York, according to the company's website.
Children's Lighthouse is known for its holistic approach to education, the press release notes.
"What we learned over the past few years is there are some things that children need now more than ever, and one of them is consistency," Dr. Nancy Smith, the company's president and CEO, tells the Daily News.
"Each classroom, from the infant stages through school-age children, has a carefully designed approach to ensure every child receives the right balance of individualized and group learning opportunities."
