The Nissan Foundation has awarded $655,000 in grants to 26 nonprofit organizations from across the country during a special luncheon commemorating the their 20th anniversary.
One recipient is Children's Museum Corporation of Rutherford County, which operates the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring, receiving $45,000. The Nissan Foundation has distributed grants to more than 100 nonprofit organizations that offer educational programs that foster a greater appreciation and understanding of America's diverse cultural heritage.
