Dr. Grace Lee, a professor of pediatrics at Stanford Medicine, has been named chief quality officer at Stanford Medicine Children's Health and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., the New York Times reports.
In her new role, Lee, who joined Stanford Medicine Children's Health last year as associate chief medical officer of practice innovation, will be responsible for leading the organization's efforts to improve the quality of care for its patients.
Lee, who was elected to the National Academy of Medicine'sAdvisory Committee on Immunization Practices, is also a professor of pediatrics (infectious disease) at Stanford Medicine and chair of the USAdvisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
