Students at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania dressed up as Santa Claus and handed out gifts to children of families in need last Saturday, the Morning Call reports.
"The little kids were really excited to see Santa and Mrs. Mrs. Claus," says junior communication studies major Brian Akonu, president of the school's Student Government Association.
"The fun part was the arts and crafts....
We had actually more [gifts] than we needed, so we gave each kid multiple things.
They were happy with their gifts."
Akonu tells the Morning Call he's "really proud" of his SGA senators, who helped set up the event.
