University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital has plans of expanding their program for abused children. This expansion will allow them to finance a higher number of child-abuse specialists in Minnesota, provide a training program for the staff, and enhance community education levels, among other things.
The steps that the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital are taking are happening due to the generous donation of The Otto Bremer Trust. The $2.5 million donation is going a long way in providing proper care for the abused children of Minnesota.
