General Mills Foundation Supports Anti-Obesity Campaign
Foundation: Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, General Mills Foundation, Johnson Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Kellogg Foundation
The Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi was awarded with a Champions for Healthy Kids Grant ammounting to $50,000 last week by the General Mills Foundation.
In partnership with the First Regional Library System's Early Childhood Resource and Referral Center, the grant will be used to expand the foundation's anti-obesity efforts across DeSoto, Tate, Tunica and Panol counties.
