A Massachusetts private school is offering a series of free workshops for kids this month designed to teach them about "engineering, creativity, and design," the Boston Globe reports.
On Saturday, Jan.
21, the Fay School in Southborough will offer "The Humpty Dumpty ChallengeAges 6-9Your mission: Protect Humpty Dumpty after he has a great fall! After reading Dan Santat's picture book After the Fall, students will use recycled materials to create a parachute that will protect Humpty Dumpty so that he doesn't crack when he falls."
There are also "Power Up Creations with CircuitryAges 9-12" and "Intro to Coding: Create Animations and GamesAges 9-12Learn the fundamentals of coding and how to create your own animations and games in this introduction to Processing, a free and flexible software and coding language."
