The Nemours Children's Health Foundation has set its sights on improving the health of America's children, and it's putting its money where its mouth is.
The foundation, a multistate pediatric health system that includes two free-standing children's hospitals and more than 70 primary and specialty care practices, will host the first-ever dedicated pediatric session at the annual Health Leadership Summit in Las Vegas on Oct.

Lawrence Moss, president and CEO of Nemours Children's Health, said in a press release.
The session, titled "Elevating Kids Health Well Beyond Medicine," will focus on how to improve the health of America's children while also improving the health of humanity as a whole.
The Nemours program will feature experts from leading organizations discussing topics including "An Rx for Fixing Healthcare by Redefining Children's Health," "A Payer, A Provider & An Innovator on Elevating Humanity: A Conversation on Transformation & The Possibilities for Change," and "Utilizing Tech to Promote Child Health Equity by Addressing Social Determinants of Health."
