That's the goal of a $5 million donation to the Heart Institute at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, which is ranked the No.
1 pediatric cardiology program on the West Coast and No.
3 in the nation by US News & World Report.
The Helen and Will Webster Foundation donation will fund two endowed positions at the hospital: the chief of cardiothoracic surgery chair and the director of the Webster Foundation 3D Innovations Lab, which is developing 3D technology to help physicians improve patient care, reports the Pasadena Star-News.
"Our foundation is not only about helping young people, but also very much about honoring my dad's lifetime of work," Rich Webster, Will's son and the executive director of the foundation, says in a press release.
Rady Children's Hospital President and CEO Patrick Frias says the donation will "make a difference for countless young patients and their families who look to us for hope and healing when they come to the Rady Children's Heart Institute."
