"We are immensely proud of these results," says Amigos for Kids CEO Karina Pavone.
Amigos for Kids is a Miami nonprofit that works to prevent child abuse and neglect by valuing children and educating communities.
To that end, it launched "The Missing Review," an "innovative social experiment" that used Google and Yelp reviews to raise awareness of missing children, per a press release.
Amigos for Kids strategically placed information about missing children in five-star reviews for businesses near last-seen locations.
The results? More than 10 million impressions and thousands of views in two weeks.
"This illustrates our capacity to innovatively harness digital platforms and effectively raise awareness of missing children," says Pavone.
"In collaboration with businesses and communities, we are reshaping the narrative surrounding child safety, demonstrating that collective action and digital innovation can truly make a difference."
