Bangladesh's children are missing out on an education, and a tech company is trying to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Mashable reports on a partnership between the messaging app imo and the nonprofit JAAGO Foundation, which provides school supplies to at-risk kids in the country.
"In order to support these children in the pursuit of a better life through education we have decided to partner with JAAGO and provide them with learning supplies," imo's business director says in a press release.
On Thursday, imo gave away school supplies including pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, color pencils, crayons, rulers, boxes, and more to kids at JAAGO's Banani school.
"The collaboration with imo has been a game-changer for our children," the school's principal says.
"It has injected a powerful spirit of hope and motivation in them."
