If you're an educator in Cobb County, Ga., and you want to learn how to grow tomatoes in outer space, extract DNA from strawberries, or handle snakes, you're in luck.
That's because the county's annual STEMapalooza conference featured sessions on artificial intelligence, robotics, and more, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
"There's a reason educators make STEMapalooza a must on their summer calendars," a school district rep says.
"The content was even more relatable and actionable, according to survey data, because most presentations were delivered by Cobb teachers."
The conference featured 81 presenters and 22 vendors, the Journal-Constitution notes, with sessions including "Miss Nelson is Found! Using AI to Empower Teachers," "Don't Worry, Be Appy," and "Build-or-Baffle with Microsoft AI Copilot."
